Join the Largest One-Day River Cleanup in the Southeast!
Each year on the first Saturday of October, volunteers across the Catawba-Wateree River Basin unite for the largest single-day river cleanup in the Southeast. For decades, from Lake James to Lake Wateree, Riversweep has brought families, friends, neighborhoods, schools, churches, businesses, and individuals together to protect our waterways and remind us what's possible when many hands work together.
Last year, more than 1,200 volunteers at 50+ sites pulled nearly 50,000 pounds of trash out of our waterways in just three hours!

This year, Riversweep returns on October 3rd, and we need your help to make it happen. Your gift helps equip every volunteer with the supplies they need to get the job done safely and the resources Site Captains need to keep each site running smoothly.
