A Community driven cleanup of the Rivers, Lakes, and Streams of the Catawba-Wateree River Basin ... OUR river basin. Join your friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens for the largest single-day clean up initiative in the Southeast! PRE-REGISTRATION FOR RIVERSWEEP 2021 IS CLOSED. Interested volunteers may walk up at any of the following sites: Lake James – Hidden Cove Boat Ramp; Lake Hickory – Hilton Park; Lake Norman – Lake Norman State Park; Lake Norman – Beatty’s Park; Mtn Island Lake – Riverbend; South Fork – Catfish Cove; Lake Wylie – Gaston Wildlife Club; Lake Wylie – Buster Boyd Bridge; Charlotte – Revolution Park; Catawba below Wylie – Lindsey Pettus Greenway; Fishing Creek – Edgewater; Lake Wateree – Wateree Creek Landing; Lake Wateree – Colonels Creek Walk-ups should arrive by 9a at their selected site and fill out a waiver and receive their materials.
