If you're a young adult looking to get more involved with Catawba Riverkeeper, we invite you join us for a hike at Forty Acre Rock Heritage Preserve in Kershaw, SC.

Forty Acre Rock Heritage Preserve offers views of a 14-acre granite outcrop, a waterfall, a small cave, a beaver pond, and a wide variety of flora.

This event is free for YAR members. Non-members are encouraged to join ($25/year) or make a $5 donation to help us off set the costs of this event.

Address: 2207 Conservancy Rd, Kershaw, SC 29067.

Parking: There are two main parking lots, the upper parking area on Conservancy Road off Highway 601 being the most common entrance to the preserve. This upper parking lot offers the shortest hiking distance (less than half a mile) to the rock formations.
